Cleaning Charge.........$75 per visit additional

Policies

The following items help make the process much for enjoyable for all of us. Please call if you have any questions... 

• Check-in time: 4:00 pm (Early check-in 10:00am)

• Check-out time: 11:00 am (Late check-out 7:00pm--this is really useful if you have a late flight out and want to spend the last day at the beach!!!)

• Baggage storage available before check-in and after check-out

• Reservation & Security Deposit: We require a minimum deposit of approximately 50% of the expected charges as a Reservation Deposit. For example, if you book for three nights, the 50% deposit would be $240. This is separate and different from a Security Deposit (see below).

• Payment in Full: We ask payment to be made in full prior to check-in. If paying by check, we would like to have payment at least one week prior to check-in to allow for the check to clear.

• Security Deposit: At time of check-in, or preferably before, we require an extra $300 as Security Deposit--this is in addition to all accommodations fees, and is generally returned (in fact, we've never had to keep anything from a Security Deposit). This can be in the form of a check. Assuming there are no damages other than normal wear and tear, the Security Deposit will be returned in full at time of checkout. If there are damages, a portion of the Security Deposit will be withheld to pay reasonable costs to repair the damages, or to compensate for damages that are irreparable.

• Cancellation Refunds: 10% of total expected charges is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. The remaining reservation deposit is refundable up through 60 days prior to reservation. Inside the 60-day period, the reservation deposit is refundable if the unit is booked, based on a pro-rata calculation taking into account nights booked and actual rates charged.

• Cleaning services can be arranged per request, however, there is a cleaning charge of $75 per cleaning visit

• Children: We are children-friendly, and love to see children enjoy our premises. We ask that children be well-supervised, and instructed about ocean hazards.

• Pets: It doesn't come up much, since people from outside Hawaii need to put pets in quarantine when they arrive, but kama'ainas should know that we'd rather not have pets on the property.

• Stay extensions: Based upon availability

• Common areas: Many areas on the grounds are accessible for your enjoyment. We only ask that you be respectful of these areas since others may wish to use them too.

• Quiet times: 9 pm to 7 am. This is our neighborhood, and we ask that you respect our neighbors in this regard.

• Complaints: If any, we will be glad to work with you to make things right for you. If for any reason you are not fully pleased with these accommodations, we will do our best to either resolve the issue, or assist in finding alternate accommodations. Depending upon the reason, we may be able to make monetary considerations, however, we cannot guarantee such things. For the benefit of all of us, we will send you lots of information about our accommodations and other items you should know, and we will ask you to review them before you arrive so there aren't any surprises.
