Hawaii is a fantastic place to stay when you're on
vacation on Oahu. It's
central to all the major tourist attractions, yet far
enough away from Waikiki to have a tranquil, relaxed
place to come home to. It's even a lot better for a
number of vacation activities involving nature, such as hiking,
biking, and playing in the water. The beach is calm
enough for kids, but has enough wave action to keep the
older ones interested, and there are bigger surf beaches
