The unit is fully independent from the adjacent main house. So how are you going to be located compared to the beach and the street? Well here's an overhead diagram...

The entire yard is enclosed by gates, and you have two gates to get out to the grassy areas and the beach, one through your own private walkway, and the other through the main yard. 

The rental unit is two story, and since the main house is only one story, the rental unit looks directly over the main house to give a wide, beautiful view of the ocean, as well as direct tradewinds off the water. The upstairs floorplan is shown below:

The downstairs is a large room, with two futon beds (downstairs floorplan not yet available).
